Things to do in Hobart and Tasmania with Kids

When you think of Tasmania you think of scenery, cold and picturesque. Yes - they are true. But there is so much more to Tasmania than you may think. Especially for kids! The list of places to explore, things to do, places to eat and stay are endless. There is no way of being bored in Tasmania with kids. You won’t hear those words “Mum, I’m bored.” Trust me. No, really, actually T-R-U-S-T me! Where to begin? Let’s start off with Hobart (because well, it is the capital). Want the kids to learn but enjoy it (no, not school)? Take them to the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery. There is so many exhibits to see and learn from. A majority of them are interactive and if the kids can touch things and play with things, then you know they will be happy. Need somewhere to eat? The Pancake Train or Rivulet Cafe.
